The influences, like most bands, vary from member to member, but overall shared joys are the MC5, STOOGES, HELLACOPTERS and a lot of trashy rock & roll.
Super88 is based out of Peoria, IL. Home of Caterpillar and no-frills rock and roll... well, no-frills anything. We play rock and roll of the retro style that came from the '70s... that survived the 80's... hibernated through the 90's for the most part and now thrives in the 21st Century. You're probably hearing it right now so there's no need to describe it.
We don't do our hair... except for Jeff... otherwise we certainly don't do our hair.
