Supercade play high-energy pop songs about unfortunate human relationships. This is upbeat music for the broken-hearted. Supercade are from Washington, DC. You can dance to their songs if you want, and even sing along, though you could just as well bob your head.
Devon sings every song to you, personally, even if they're about things that happened only to her. Dave plays bass at the altar of Peter Hook, Tony's guitar was quite possibly sent to him from Greg Dulli, and Michelle channels Mo Tucker with every beat of her drums. This is the only name-dropping they ever do. The rest of the time, the forget about their influences and play rock music that's fun, fast, sad, and strangely familiar...in a good way.
