Getting To Know Supersofar
From the land of mountains & salt flat deserts comes Supersofar, a Salt Lake-based band whose refreshing sound and accessibility, trips you through melodic vocals and instrumental dynamics, ranging from as heavy as the sky falling to wide open spaces and all points in between.
Formed in 2002, Supersofar quickly became a noticeable name locally and regionally with strong word-of-mouth, and impressive area shows.
With the March 2007 release of their EP "Blessing Of The Curse" and their Oct. 2005 release of their CD, "SUM" , they have garnered substantial airplay on Salt Lake's top rock stations, as well as regional radio features.
"We derive influence from life, love, death, friendships and every bit of music that has ever hit our ears...good and bad. We love what we do and do what we love." The result has been a great response and an ever-growing fanbase.
Supersofar's live shows are joyous, intense and powerful with undeniable chemistry with their audiences. The band is hard to categorize and their songs impossible to keep out of your head.
