Jimi aka Jamie Barnes is one of the few mucisians around that is willing to leave the computer generated midi sounds behind and rely purely on raw acoustic talent.
With over 20 years experience in the industry and having played on the same circut with bands such as The Screaming Jets, The Steve Edmonds Band and Swannie, Jimi never fails to deliver a powerful, vocal driven experience to any crowd lucky enough to witness his show.
Jimi started his carrer in the Southern Highlands of NSW as a harmonica/frontman for The Hounds. Playing at every noteworthy venue that the Highlands could offer. From there he formed various other bands such as Kadence and Steel and Wood where he honed his skills as a guitarist/songwriter packing out venues that ranged from an energy charged Saturday night at the Local pub to a more refined acoustic afternoon in the Briars beergarden.
