swayzak - some kind of bastardized patrick swayzee , men with hang ups - we (kind of ) formed in 1993 ,way before the internet boom and back when samplers had massive 2meg memory and a computer was something to heat the room !
since 1997 we have been working hard on avoiding full time employment and releasing records of sorts ! Thats not to say swayzak isnt a full time job but its a pleasurable one ! (generally its part time) .......Now coming up for our 10 th year in the musak industry - surely a worthy of a celebration , perhaps a record or two will be released and possible re-issues of old classics !
If it wasnt for a couple of people in London town , no doubt we would be working in dead end jobs but by chance we found a scene and they took us to heart ! The scene grew and we embraced new friends .
So a stroke of luck and a little hard work , some small risks that got our first record out we would like to thank those who have helped along the way ! you know who you are !!!
Our fan base seems to be still growing as we play from europe to the americas, to australia and asia and we thought its time we should embrace the myspace generation with our presence :)
