About me:

Advance tickets for Ballboy / Stornoway / The Zebras on Fri 1st August at The Exeter Hall, Oxford

Advance tickets for Lazarus Clamp / Spencer McGarry Season / Palace Music on Thurs 21st Aug at The Wheatsheaf, Oxford

Advance tickets for Would-Be-Goods / Sparky's Magic Piano / The Lovely Eggs on Fri 19th September at The Wheatsheaf, Oxford

Swiss Concrete was formed when six guys got together in the pub one night and decided it would be a good idea to put bands on in Oxford. They are:

Russell Barker (Band booker)
Richard Catherall (Executive consultant)
Niklas Bergvall (Doorman, security and merch)
Matt Bayliss (Distro, venues and rambling)
Dan Mitchell (e-Highway man)
Alastair Tervit (Painter)
Serjeant Rock (Sound)

We're always looking for artists for future shows. Sorry, but we can't offer a guaranteed fee or expenses at the moment. However:
1. We'll split the door take equally with you.
2. We'll sell your CDs for you to save you the hassle.
3. We don't require you to bring a minimum number of people with you or anything heavy like that.
4. There are cheap ways to get here, come by Megabus
5. Our gigs are mainly at The Wheatsheaf, 129 High Street, Oxford. OX1 4DF (it's hidden down an alley)
6. There will be the odd one at The Exeter Hall, 1 Oxford Road (between Cowley Rd & Cowley centre), Oxford. OX4 2EN
7. Our gigs currently take place on the third Friday of the month. However if you're really good we sometimes put extra gigs on. If you're looking for a specific date, especially a Fri or Sat, please give us plenty of notice as those nights are booking up at least a couple of months in advance in Oxford.
9. All our gigs for a certain month will be arranged by the 20th of the previous month as this is the local press deadline. After all, we want people to turn up! Please bear this in mind when you ask for a gig.
Who I'd like to meet:
Lovely people who play good music and fans thereof.
