Bio
Tales in Space are an explosive collage of elctro-dynamo-pomo-disco rock. With a small collection of 3 members, they prove to create a huge post-rock-electronica sound. Tales have recently finished their second EP Titled ‘Ghost In The Room’ released 19th of November 2010 through Other Tongues. These Sydney lads first hit the stage in Feb of 2009 and while sporting their lab coats in the studio they later recorded their debut EP released November 2009. With a background in music production, Tales self-recorded and produced the EP which has proven to be a great start to their career. It was picked up by several radio stations while their film clip for ‘The Cause’ has been a featured clip on Rage. In February and March 2010, they had the pleasure of sharing their music to the world by travelling to LA and NYC to play some shows to promote their debut EP. Since returning home, Tales have been sharing the love with some solid shows while busy in the Studio finishing their second EP titled ‘Ghost in The Room’. The Current EP has been received greatly with Tracks played on Stations across the Nation including Triple J and FBI radio. They film clip for their first singe ‘Work You Out’ received air time on Rage and rotation on Channel ‘V’. With the heavy influence of technology in today’s music, Tales create using a montage of samples, loops, radios, keyboards and triggers while still maintaining a solid foundation of traditional drums and guitars. Tales in Space have been radiating their sound at festivals and venues such as Bondi Music Festival, Lovejam Festival, My filthy Riot, The Gaelic Theatre, Annandale hotel, Beach rd hotel and Oxford Art Factory, Trip (LA), Pianos (NYC), Arlenes Grocery (NYC). With an energetic and powerful delivery, their live show offers melodic guitars, slamming beats and strong harmonies with an electronic and sample based twist. -

Choice show last night guys!!! Can't wait to play again on stage with you soon! Love The Ghosts
On June 14, 2010 we will be accepting submissions from artists interesting in performing in front of 25 to 50 representatives from the 4 Major Recording Labels and several of the top Independent Record Labels.
This will occur over two consecutive weekends. One weekend in New York and one weekend in Los Angeles over two days that will feature 15 of the top bands selected to perform each night at one location. In doing it this way every band that performs WILL BE SEEN by ever representative attending. Unlike SXSW and other such music conferences where if you’re not at the one or two locations where all the label representatives hang out, you’ll ever be seen, and it was a complete waste of your time and money.
NO COST or FEES, other than the artist’s own travel expenses. Compete details and submission procedures shall be posted on our MySpace page June 14, 2010. WE SHALL NOT ACCEPT ANY SUBMISSIONS UNTIL THAT DATE.
And here is why we are committing a considerable amount of time and resources to this opportunity:
Sonicbids is an Artist and Promoters Worst Nightmare
Recently we began a trial usage of Sonicbids’ service for our artist and band searches.
As a result of that test it became clear that Sonicbids is all about earning money at the expense of artists looking to break through the wall that surrounds the music industry.
Based on our experiences from both the perspective of artists we are associated with seeking to benefit from opportunities offered though Sonicbids. As well as from the perspective of promoters searching for talent through Sonicbids service.
