Haha sorry, it was very fleeting! I guess I watched it from backstage because I usually don't have the opportunity. And I could see them better than from in that massive crowd. lol

About me:
I've put my work in radio on hold for now because of massive time constraints (three jobs will do that to a girl) but continue to write my column for the paper. I'm still promoting queer (and queer friendly) artists and events. I sometimes still contribute to radio and blogs and online content. If you're involved in a queer play, movie, tv show, art show, book or zine, concert, performance piece, product, planning a queer friendly event or anything else I might've missed, let me know. I'm always in search of new interviews and content.
As before, if you're a queer band or a straight band with a song about queer issues, tell me. Don't friend me without a message about why I (and that means me, Tam, specifically) should check you out, otherwise I probably won't accept.
I'm delving into show promotion lately (pretty much by accident) and have organized and advertised for some successful local concerts, shows and assorted events. I also host on occasion. I pretty much just do what people ask me to do if it's an event I'm interested in.
I've also become very focused on activism and working in the community to promote equality in a lot of different ways. I always was, but I'm now doing more political work (as it's now part of my job). Send me a message if there's an issue or a story you think I need to know about that's happening in North America.
I don't check MySpace very often these days. If you're clever, you can find me on Facebook.
I work with: Queer Allied Network, CJSR, Gaywire, Vue Weekly, Out is In, the Pride Centre of Edmonton, the Youth Theatre Project, Camp fYrefly, Outspeaks, the Edmonton Transit Riders' Union, Together Wecan, ExCam, Queer Youth Camp-Out, Team Edmonton, the Exposure Festival, Alberta Liberal Party, Edmonton Pride Awards, Edmonton Pride Week Society, Guerilla Gay Bar Edmonton
Who I'd like to meet:
This probably means real life people but how on earth could I answer that? I haven't met them yet. Instead, here are some artists and activists I would like to chat with because they seem like interesting people who make unique and intelligent creative and/or constructive choices: Cleve Jones, Michelle Tea, Emily Haines, Amber Benson, Bansky, Evan Rachel Wood, Maria Maggenti, Leslie Feinberg, Ellen Page, Joss Whedon, Anna Faris, Jamie Babbit, Larry Kramer, Angela Robinson, Huang Yong Ping and Melissa Etheridge. Otherwise, I like to meet people who are motivated to change the world through art, through activism or through aid.Details
