Torbjörn "T-Bear" Solberg and Jan Lillsäter had been playing together in a Texas Shuffle trio for about 10years, when T-Bear came up with the idea of starting a band with a horn section. The band was formed in spring 2004 and had their first gig just before Christmas the same year.
The following year the band continued doing gigs, writing some new songs and saving up money for a CD production.
In the mid summer 2006 T-Bear&the Dukes hired one of the Swedish Radios mobile studios and recorded "Let The Sweet Talk Flow" in a church-house outside of their hometown...
