On TDR Project, it's me, myself and I, with a drum machine - and a guest, Gérard Adam, on one song
Influences
Pretty much everything I listen to or hear can be an influence for me, the classical music my parents listened to, the great innovative bands of today or the seventies acts I used to listen to when I started playing, in the mid-eighties. My first influences were guitar players like Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Buck Dharma, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, and bands like Deep Purple, UFO, Thin Lizzy, Rush. I then discovered Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Richie Kotzen, Eric Johnson, Shawn Lane, Greg Howe and many, many others… Current favorite players are Andy Timmons, Chris Poland and Guthrie Govan
Feedback is my main band, so check it's myspace page, a new album will be released soon. I also played in a band from Reunion Island (just 300 km from Mauritius), Nazca, who released an Ep and an album. Besides that, although I'm not a solo artist, I've released an instrumental solo album in 1993, TDR Project. "Terra Incognita" and "Song for Katmandu" are from that album. "Cyberfreak" is something I recorded for a local TV show and is unreleased yet. I completely stopped playing for some years, then I started over again in 2004 when I joined a cover band, Metropolis. I also give guitar lessons, and record/mix albums of local bands. I'm active in some guitar and music forums under the "fremen" nickname
