TESSARACT band was formed by guitarist Yury Volkov and drummer Konstantin Zmievsky in April 1999. 3 month later debut demo “End of Depression” was recorded with the help of vokalist Igor Evdokimov. The stuff contains unreleased stuff of the same name band where present musicians of TESSARACT played in. Guitarist of DEFLECTED SENSE namely Denis Zubarev helped during record-session. In November guitarist Alexander Belotserkovsky and bass-guitar player Yury Shevchenko joined the band.
In March 2000 TESSARACT starts to play live shows again. During the year the band played in Belgorod, Lisichansk, Lugansk, Evpatoriya and Kharkov. By the end of 2000 session guitarist of ETERNAL SCREAM namely Igor Zubko recruited while Yury Volkov becomes bass guitar player and new growler Roman Deev replaces Igor Evdokimov.
In Spring 2001 recordings of new stuff titled “A Sudden Outcome” has been finished. The stuff includes 4 tracks, 2 remakes + intro & outro and represents intense death/thrash. In 2001 TESSARACT plays a little of shows in Kharkov and Evpatoriya only. In Summer Igor Zubko left the band.
In the beginning of 2002 bonus side for “A Sudden Outcome” EP has been recorded and it includes 3 cover versions so “A Sudden Outcome” stuff becomes full-size album. In Spring the same year Viktor Krupsky invited as new guitarist of TESSARACT. Starting from that time TESSARACT plays live shows in Kharkov, Alchevsk, Vinnitsa, Izyum and Kiev. By the end of the year Viktor Krupsky was compelled to leave the band.
In February 2003 the band played live shows in Lugansk and Simferopol only. Some calm takes place for a while but in Autumn 2003 TESSARACT begins to work again. By the end of the year record-session of new stuff begins.
In 2004 Roman Deev left the band and new singer invites namely Hannah Belyakova (ex BUZZ TRIBE, DEATHDEMONA). In renewed line-up TESSARACT plays shows in Kharkov, Kiev, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, St. Petersburg. In Autumn Alexander Belotserkovsky (guitar) suddenly decides to leave the band and the stuff which has been under recordings left TESSARACT as well. 3 month later Aleksander Ovchinnikov (ex-LEGION) became new guitarist and work under composing of new songs begins.
New playbill’s ready at the beginning of 2005 and starting from March the same year TESSARACT plays in Kharkov, Sumy, Lvov, Ilyichevsk, Uzhgorod, Lutsk. In Autumn 2005 record session of new EP called “On the Edge” has been finished where all vocals performed by Vladislav Shahin (of MOURNUFL GUST).
In 2006 Hannah Belyakova (vocals) was compelled to leave the band and Aleksander Ovchinnikov besides his guitar work become singer as well. In September 2006 Viktor Krupsky invited back to the band. During that year TESSARACT plays live shows in Alchevsk, Rovno, Kremenchug, Odessa, Ternopol, Zhitomir, Uzhgorod, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Zaporozhye, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Lugansk, Chernigov, Severodonetsk, Energodar, Volgograd, Krivoy Rog, Donetsk, Chernovtsy, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kiev, Kaluga, Sumy.
In the beginning of 2007 one of the band former namely Yury Volkov was compelled to leave the band due to the health problems. New bass guitar namely Andrew Danko (ex- ACEPHALA) invited. In May-June TESSARACT played Collapsing the Europe tour in which the band played shows in 5 European countries. After finishing the tour Alexander Ovchinnikov (guitar/vocals) was compelled to leave the band as well as Viktor Krupsky (guitar) some time later.
Presently the band's activity stopped for a while.
Hi, I am listening to your "a sudden outcome"-CD at the moment. It really kicks ass^^ The Sound quality is very good and the songs are all killers :-) I think you are a real special band in the whole extreme Metal Scene. There are not many bands who plays such an exciting death metal.
I hope I get the chance to see you guys again. viktor says there is maybe a chance that you play another gig in Germany ( I think he said next year...). I would be very happy if this will be happen :-)
