    Christopher Moore's Interests
GeneralI like big books and I like to read And I really must concede When I'm all up in those pages It makes me feel outrageous I LIKE BIG BOOKS! Oh, and I also enjoy photography and art.
MusicI listen almost exclusively to acid jazz, ambient groove, and chilly rhythms when I'm writing. I like Baby Mammoth, Afterlife, Zero 7, and Audio Lotion. When I'm not writing I listen to all sorts of stuff, from AC/DC, to Foo Fighters, to Goo Goo Dolls, to Gershwin, to John Prine and John Hiatt
MoviesI like cheesy horror movies and big splashy movies where stuff gets blown up. I also like movies where the dialogue is actually carefully crafted and almost play-like. Whit Stillman's Barcelona comes to mind. My all time favorite movie is Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
TelevisionMonk, Deadwood, The Daily Show, Entourage, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives -- most of the shows I like get cancelled.
BooksI like funny books above all, but there just aren't that many truely funny books. Lately I've been reading Mil Millington and Bill Bryson for humor, John Connelly for suspense, and Haruki Murakami because he's craaaaaaaaaazy. My favorite book is Cannery Row by John Steinbeck.
HeroesMark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Douglas Adams, John Steinbeck, and big Bill Shakespeare.

About me:
Hi, I'm Christopher Moore, the author of almost ten novels, including Lamb and A Dirty Job. I'm just getting started here, and since I'm finishing up my tenth book right now, I don't have much time to work on my space, but too many of my readers were asking if I had one, so now I do. I'll fix this place up when I get some time. Here's my official web page www.chrismoore.com Here's the message board. http://bbs.chrismoore.com/index.php You'll find another blog at the top. I started reading your books with A Dirty Job first and immediately had to call my daughter who was living on Mason Street and tell her to stay away from all sewers. She thought I had completely lost the little sanity I had. When I read You Suck ... she knew I had lost all my sanity. My husband have howled and howled at the Biblical series .... I even had a student named Raziel while I was reading those books.

K. So I am reading all the books backwards it seems, with great joy I might add. I just finished Practical Demon keeing and The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove. Not to mention the rest I've read. I really just wanted to relay that your wit and imagination have surpassed all my wants in an author. I never knew I could laugh out loud at book so long and so hard. I'm so glad I made the choice to pick up A Dirty Job on a whim. Thank you for all you write. My best friend and I can't stop sharing thoughts and inside jokes from your books. I hope all is well with you and yours. As you have made well with me and mine.

I just have to say, I read A Dirty Job and laughed out loud to myself on a crowded train...for the whole book...and loved every minute of it. I can't wait to go read all of your other books! Thanks for writing such great material- I absolutely fell in love with every character in that book.
Thanks again and keep on writing!
