Singer Alex Dezen and bassist Ted Hudson met in college, played in a few bands, drank, and moved to Brooklyn. This is where they met David Chernis, who had been playing in no less than 567 bands.
I picked up a copy of Chaos Theory yseterday and heard the tracks you guys have on it. I bought "Air Stereo" about eleven months ago, but watching that movie made me go out and pick up "Bastards of the Beat" as well.
It's phenomenal. You guys are incredible and I hope to see you live soon.
So...just watched the movie chaos theory the other day and thought that some song sounded familiar. Then nearly all the songs sounded like you. Congrats on being apart of movies too! I love all of your songs and glad others are feeling the same way.
I second that. We're waiting for you in Philly. I know scores of people that I personally have intruduced to the Damnwells that would love to see you guys. And it's been way too long for me. Can't wait for the new material.

Dear The Damnwells, I never told you how awesome it was to sing on stage with you in Birmingham. It was really awesome. Hopefully I will see you guys again soon, because you have the most mind-blowing live shows of any band I've seen. Though I still think my fondest memory is when your monitor caught on fire in Atlanta....
