January 20 somethingth Sallad realized he needed another band to play a show he was throwing February 8th, so he said "Hey Tom, who am I going to put on the bill for that show?" Tom said "Why don't we just start a band and learn a set before then?" so Sallad said "Alright, well I'll play bass and sing, you can play guitar and sing, who do we know that can play drums?" Tom said "Motzell plays drums now, and he's as unemployed and out of school as we are."
The original gameplan was to try to learn a set by practicing every day (it's not like we have jobs or go to school) in 10 days, and play a set well enough to impress a bunch of drunks in Sallad's basement, if we couldn't learn our own songs then we were going to cover the album "Treatment 5" by Osker. in 9 days we managed to learn a set, and now we're a band.
All of us have been playing in bands with one another since 2000, and all grew up in the same rural area between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Michigan. Now in our 20's we decided to start a new band, and hopefully we can make something decent out of this.
... oh yeah, Price played 2nd guitar for the first show.
