Altercation Records has inked a deal with national chain Hot Topic to carry their releases. The agreement will make the fast-rising punk label's roster available to the stores beginning next week, including recent releases 'Morfiend' by Blase Debris, 'Skull Persuasion' by Casket Architects and 'By RX Only' by The Designer Drugs.
"We are thrilled to team with Hot Topic as we continue to expand in scope," says Altercation head JT Habersaat. "They are increasingly one of the primary destinations for music fans, and we are psyched by the partnership.

The deal coincides with both Blase Debris and Casket Architects hitting the road with Vans Warped Tour later in the month.
STREET PUNK OUTFIT BORN TO LOSE SIGNS TO ALTERCATION RECORDS.
Austin, Texas - Born To Lose, one of the most long running and scene dominating Texas punk bands in recent memory, has signed an exclusive recording deal with Altercation Records, Inc.
“I am beyond psyched to have BTL officially join the Altercation roster,” said Altercation head JT Habersaat. “I’ve been a fan since the first time I saw them, and have become tight friends with them since then. I think it is a perfect pairing.”
Known for their anthem-driven sing-along brand of aggressive punk rock, the band has been compared to such greats as Rancid, Motorhead and Dropkick Murphys. In recent months they have toured alongside a who’s who of the scene, including Street Dogs, U.S. Bombs, Far From Finished, Horrorpops and many more.
The band will join a diverse and growing roster of critically hailed bands on Altercation, including horror punks Blasé Debris and art-metal mavens Casket Architects, both of whom are slated to perform on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour alongside Bouncing Souls, Against Me!, the Briggs and many more.
Born To Lose will embark on a two month European tour this July, with their new album ‘Saints Gone Wrong’ scheduled for U.S. release on Altercation in September 2008.
