The epitome of rock and roll: dangerous, explosive fury and an exciting, high energy performance that makes the room come alive. The rawness and emotion of 90s rockers such as Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins, crossed with the bluesy rock and roll of Led Zeppelin or the Who, and the drive of stoner rock groups like Soundgarden or Kyuss. Powerful, sing along alt-rock choruses, danceable rock and roll rhythms, a bit of a punk edge, and fresh sounding modern vocals. -

The power trio the of the Greer brothers backed up on tour by Jamie Robinson, with special thanks to Mr. Steve Jackett. We will consider working with him when it comes to local shows and songwriting! -

"The DGB" est une formation Canadienne "Rock and Roll" très énergique. "The DGB" nous rappelle les émotions crues du rock des années 90 comme Nirvana et les Smashing Pumpkins, mélengé avec le son "Bluesy Rock" de Led Zeppelin et The Who, avec le son des groupes "stoner rock" comme Soundgarden ou Kyuss. On y ajouttes des refrains rock-alternatif puissant à n..en chanter avec des rythmes rock and roll sur lesquelles tout le monde peu dancer et sans oublier un petit coté punk utilisant des chants modernes.
The DGB is proud to be on the heavier side of a new Rock & Roll movement in Canada being led by bands like Hollerado and the Arkells. Heavy Alternative Rock drunk with 70's Rock & Roll swagger and a live show so energetic you can't help but be consumed by it. Think the Black Keys meets Queens of the Stone Age with just a touch of that classic "Can-Rock" sound.
In 2009, the DGB released their "Victory Song" record, and has since been pumping out 100 shows a year, touring all over Canada. August 19th, 2011, the band will be releasing their follow-up to that album, titled "The Greatest Life Unknown", and embarking on their biggest tour yet. The "2011 Canada Wide Tour" will see the band on the road from late August till the middle of December, travelling from St. John's, Newfoundland to Victoria, BC.
