There are 500,000,000,040 bands in the world. How can anyone be so audacious as to insist that in this overwhelming number of mediocre and half-talented bands, singer songwriters, and the like that he or she has produced something that is really worth everyone's while? We're not sure why anyone should care about our music instead of any other band or person's music. We hope you like our music.

Also, there are a number of reasons a person or band might "friend" you on myspace other than this party's liking your music. One may simply be looking to increase his or her friend count or to con you into helping book a show for his or her band. Because of this, we would never be so naive as to assume that our friend count on myspace is equivalent to the number of people who like our music. This is why we are trying to determine of our myspace friends how many are actually fans of our music and how many are something other than this.
