The Drowsy Holler's music is hard to label. It's good get down music. It's what you wanna rock out to at the bar. It has a country edge and can get downright backwoods but it's absolutely rock and roll. You got see them live to truly appreciate it.
Some reviews:
"These guys are badass!" raves the guy at the far end of the bar.
"You guys make me wanna drink!" says the guy next to him.
"We'll let you guys play at the Stork Club again." declares Emmett.
"If I can get someone to let you play with them, I can get you a show at the Bottom of the Hill" Joel states with passion.
geeze my man my man - tunes sounding good. when you are ready to share set with some kentucky sad bastard singin old farts let me know. For now i'll just have another Guiness in your name. late 2nd brother kev
I love your new recordings, I put Aiden up on my profile. BTW my woodstove is bigger then yours, but I suppose it needs to be to beat the 36 below zero we get out here, you do win points for the potbelliedness of the stove, however. If your are ever traveling to visit anyone in Minnesota(*cough* Robbie and fam) Come play, we'll get you a night at Oak Center(the premier bluegrass/folkin rock/anybilly venue in MN)
Love the Guinness song! Except I'm pretty sure they're best served 2 or 3 degrees below room temp, not cold. This is an ethical dilemma for me and I must wonder... why do you prefer them cold?
Lordy Lordy,, you guys were awesome at Irelands 32... pleasure meetin ya to.. we chat a bit out side. pleasure sharing the bill with ya to ! peace and beats. geoff,
That youtube video is great. I love Lauren's professionalism. She soldiers on while there's bedlam. Plus, playing the tin whistle is even harder when you're trying not to laugh. xo D
