   About The Dupont Circles
Washington, DC’s favorite unknown three piece psychedelic garage pop combo, the Dupont Circles, formed in 1988, have been recording sporadically since 1995. With two ultraobscure 7” releases on Cara Records (home of Norwegian popsters, the Loch Ness Mouse) and a small assortment of compilation appearances behind them, the Dupont Circles are now intent on crawling out of their subterranean lair to venture into the blinding light of the 21st century. Look for more recordings one day.

Thanks Dupont Circles,
Always glad to hear from you. I wish I could meet you guys. Within the next week or so I'm going to put 5 or so new songs up there. I'm in a Doors state of mind at the moment. Stay tuned. Glad you like the Merseybeat tones of I'm Her Man.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)

Promotional Video(My Girl From The South Sea Isles)

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
