The Dustaphonics are the all new band of Healer Selecta (a.k.a. Yvan Serrano-Fontova), the French-London-Hispanic underground musician, DJ, producer and organiser of magnificent musical spectacles, the man about whom the press has said "re-invented swinging London". The Dustaphonics, on this, their first single, have teamed up with legendary actress Tura Satana (of Russ Meyer's Faster Pussycat Kill Kill) who wrote the lyrics of the a-side "Burlesque Queen". The b-side "Tornado" is courtesy of Rockabilly legends The Giants. With the magificent rythym section of Bruce Brand (Headcoats, Masonics) and John Gibbs (Masonics, Wildebeests) behind them this is an epic release.

Cult actress, friend and fan, TURA SATANA (Faster Pussy Cat Kill Kill famous Russ Meyer’s movie) wrote the lyrics for « Burlesque Queen » on Dustaphonics single. The single was recorded in Hackney (London) in 2009 with friend BRUCE BRAND the legendary drummer with the Milkshakes and Billy Childish. For Healer Selecta music is a story of passion and friendship.
Discovered by the famous John Peel (Radio One) in the 90s, HEALER SELECTA created the DUSTAPHONICS with “the crème de la crème” of British musicians issued from various musical backgrounds and all reunited under the same roof, the Raison D'Etre-Reason2b Collective.

THE DUSTAPHONICS have a unique sound and attitude, cleverly mixing together the authenticity and passion inspired by the music of the Soul R&B of the 50's/60's, the positive attitude brought by wild 50’s Rock'n Roll, the incredible freshness of the 60’s Surf Beat, the intensity of 60’s Garage Rock and a very special and light touch of Jazz. All this creates a friendly atmosphere where each “like minded music lover” will enjoy the pleasure of each show.
The collaboration between Healer Selecta and Aina is a real « Soul Rockin’ Songs » machine.
Together they write the songs, Yvan, the music and Aina, the lyrics. He comes from a Rock N Roll Garage Soul background and she comes from Hip Hop Drum & Bass background from London. The encounter is pure dynamite, a pleasure for the ears and the eyes. They are sometimes called “the new Ike & Tina Turner.”
