About The Frail NEW DEMOS UP PUREVOLUME.COM/THEFRAILSF
we are the frail.. we hope you enjoy our music :)
The Frail creates sensual, vulnerable and provocative electronic pop music that has the potential to appeal to many generations. With vocalist Daniel Lannon's (former lead singer of The Faraday Effect) smooth, stylishly sincere, warm falsetto vocals, and co-writing, guitar and production efforts of Kevin Durr, bass from Daniel Sams, and drums from Tim Sams this band has the potential to be what the Eurythmics were to the eighties. With their growing fan base in San Francisco and abroad they are sure to become a household name very soon! They have shared the stage with bands like Justice, Hot Chip, CSS, TV On The Radio, Goldfrapp, The Teenagers, Hollywood Undead, MXPX, Family Force Five, Emery, The Lovemakers, The Virgins, and more. In addition they have been played and charted on both National and International radio, tv, and most recently have had placements in a Nike/Patagonia ad, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Stylist, Kourtney and Chloe Kardashian Take Miami, Road Rules, Real World, Good Girls Bad Girls, Finding Aloha, & The Snake (Margret Cho). Currently the band is hard at work on their first full length and world tour, keep an ear out for their new self titled release "The Frail" coming out in 2010.

"San Francisco synthpop specialists THE FRAIL packed club popscene last month with and delivered an energetic set that enticed a near riot on the dance floor!"
-aaron axeslsen, popscene/live105, san francsico
"Multifaceted while still remaining balanced with the touches of nasally falsetto vocals, monotone melodies, and edgy beats."
-Plug In
"Hypnotic synths, breathy and falsetto vocals, crisp drums and pulsating bass pierced through the fog to create both a wistful soundscape like that of The Postal Service, and a heavier, more volatile design like that of The Faint."
-Performer Magazine
"The Frail has already become an addiction for me."
-Elise Nordling / SOMA FM
"I can imagine this music having a wider appeal."
-The Beat Surrender
Our Debut EP 'Count on This' is available through Tricycle Records.
"The perfect fix for anyone waiting for the next Postal Service record. The Count On This EP, is full of big electronic beats mixed with indie rock sensibilities, tipping their caps to Hot Chip at times, then to Death Cab for Cutie at others." -Future Sounds
