Sounds LikeIf Paul Mc Cartney and Brian Wilson had kids together, and they were adopted by James Brown, this is what they would sound like. And possibly look like.

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM's MySpace Profile Editor!

Dublin based four piece The Gandhis are to release their debut album on indie label 1969 Records nationwide on October 9th.

They released their debut single 'Zaza' in early 2008. It reached number one on the Downloadmusic.ie chart and received great reviews and widespread radio play across the country.

On the back a sold out Radio City gig they were signed to Dublin Indie - label 1969 records. They followed Zaza with the single "Don't you want to be loved by me" ("a bittersweet, perfectly formed morsel of endearing power pop that's instantly appealing" Hot Press) and B-Side "Goodbye Cruel Appendix" in November 2008 with CD copies of the single available in Tower Records, Wicklow Street.

This summer, they released their third single "Guy Like Me" to a packed Whelans main venue and followed it up with an appearance on RTE's Miriam O' Callaghan Show.

Having cut their teeth live supporting the likes of Republic of Loose, Fight Like Apes, Ham Sandwich and Crayonsmith , The Gandhis are ("ones to watch as the year progresses" Hot Press), ("a sweet delight" Evening Herald), ("a great night out is always guaranteed at their gigs" News Of The World), ("a band who are sure to draw attention in the coming year" Frequency Ireland).

I cant even remember the venue. Odd that. Haha, I used to be the type that took pride in knowing the "unsigned" scene because it made me proud. How silly. =P Trying to catch up on the times now, its been a couple of years since I was in the loop even in the slightest.

How are you keeping yourselves?

Hey! Guys I love your work, caught you a while ago when you supported Fight Light Apes, I think. And name always stuck with me. Nice choice. Hah.

This is the first time I got to listen to actual recorded music and I must say. A delight. Best of luck! Keep it up.
