About the Half Shell.....
The Half Shell is Located in the heart of Shore Drive in Va Beach, Virginia. Right in the middle of the nightlife and action in Chesapeake Beach (Chics Beach). The Shell is one of a very few select small original music venues left in the area, some are even calling it a musical institution for the area. There is live music almost everynight of the week give or take a few certain dates each month. We are the home of one of the best small venue sound systems run by one of the best sound men in all of Hampton Roads. Check out the calendar, then come check out a show.
