The Lanterns started in the fall of 2006 as a fucking awesome power trio and recorded "Last Generation," our debut full-length album in the spring of 2007. You can pick it up at the Portsmouth Bull Moose Music or order it from our friends at Interpunk. Oh, and for all you punx of the 21st Century, "Last Generation" is now available via iTunes.
We added a fourth member, guitarist Jay Fortin, in the spring of 2008 and recorded an EP this past September at Mad Oak Studios in Boston, MA. Those songs are now available as an EP entitled "Postcard Picture"released by Cheapskate Records based out of Schenectady, NY.
our sixth cd "the kids are alright" is being released in CT on NOV. 28 at the EL-N-GEE in NEW LONDON (ALL AGES) and in MASS on DEC. 5 at LONDON BILLIARDS in WORCESTER (18+)!!!!
