Started as a quartet with long drawn out songs that got labeled as "jammy" which made us throw up in our mouths. Drummer quit in disgust. Band went on hiatus. Rest of the band plus 2 toured as Wayne Rogers Cock Retaliation (or whatever it was called). Switched out drummer, added chick vocals and voila, Major Stars 2.0. Chick vocals goes all, "I'm a lawyer now". New chick vocals. New chick vocals goes all, "Touring is for fags". Now? New chick vocals again.

The Fuck?

Jesus Christ. Look, we've been at this in one form or another for, like, 25 years or something. Half of us are OLD. The other half are staring straight down the barrel of GETTING OLD. We're working on a fucking record. Number 8. We play shows. Mostly in the Boston area. Once in a while we get out of town when jobs and dogs allow. It seems like we either play shows to people who've seen us a billion times or shows where people have never heard of us and wonder where the hell we've been all their lives. What the fuck? The fuck is, we suck at promoting ourselves. We have a bunch of records on Twisted Village. A couple on Squealer. And a couple on Drag City. Dave plays the Peavey bass. Casey rides the drum throne. Hayley sings the vocals into an SM57. Kate plays the Guild. Wayne plays the Les Paul. Tom plays the SG. You stand there and shake your head up and down. Just check motherfucking Facebook for shows.
