   About The Matthew Project
Norwich street urchin Matthew Leuw is The Matthew Project. The name was originally intended as a loving tribute to The Alan Parsons Project (which I believe was some sort of hovercraft). He is also half of 2 Hot 2 Sweat and used to be in Coin-op, Crest, The Aprons and Cortez. The album "Soul Reversal" is all recorded now and will be in the shops in early 2008. Should you wish to email Matthew you can do so at thematthewprojectuk@yahoo.co.uk, feel free to send nice pictures of animals, they're always appreciated.

I've thought about this at great length and decided that "credible pop" is the most irritating phrase known to man. Except maybe "Paul Weller/Noel Gallagher collaboration" or "Modfather" for that matter...

I fear I may have to file the unholy collaboration between Rihanna and Maroon 5 under the heading Really Great Pop Song. I do hope you're still only paying tribute to INXS in a musical sense and not the 'other thing' Michael Hutchence is famous for...

If you're talking about tea then yes, you're right. I may be getting confused with Sting again...

Seems to me from watching Jools "Boogie Fingers" Holland last night that Spiritualized are still ripping off Lethargic Pigeon. Damn copyists! JP looks well though...

Have you ever had that dream where you write the best song ever, but when you wake up all you can remember is a spacerock reworking of the original Masterchef theme? I'm guessing not, but it's fairly annoying...

I'd completely forgotten about the Low Fidelity Allstars until I saw them in your Last.fm dongle. Does the Skunk Rock revival start here?

Awesome. i hope to hear it on the 2H2S MySpace one day. It's a mystery to me why you can't be in Jo Whiley's Live Lounge instead of James Morrison and/or Mika. I don't think her show is long enough for Lethargic Prism's interpretation of Freebird.

Unless I'm very much mistaken the new Janet Jackson single is a Really Great Pop Song. Plus the video looks like it's set in a giant bowl of Cheerios, probably in tribute to Stereo by Pavement. Pisses all over Dirty Pretty Things too...
