Myspace Backgrounds Born in North Carolina, rocked Athens, walked New York, born again in North Carolina! Seth Hall records under the moniker The Middle Eight. Since childhood, music has been a constant part of Seth's life. While dissecting the family music collection and taking music lessons, he developed the "bug". Picking up instruments along the way, he journeyed from his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina to Athens, Georgia, forming 70's power pop band The Modfathers (with fellow North Carolinian Douglas Porter Jr.
). After 5 years of recording and touring with The Modfathers and a number of other bands (Pacific UV, The Sunshine Fix, Fabulous Bird, Great Lakes), he journeyed north to New York City where he spent a year writing and performing. Recording all of the tracks himself from home, Look Up is his first solo effort. He is currently continuing his spiritual journey in Raleigh, writing 60's & 70's influenced pop, based in Christian spirituality.
