iknowkungfu began in the rainy fall of 1999 in the unassuming whitebread craptopolis of Vancouver, WA. Tired of boring jobs and the bottomless weekends of sports bars and playstation, three friends hit the garage with some guitars, a case of beer and no expectations other than drinking said beer and blowing off the steam of the work week by making some noise. Influenced by everything from late 80's/early 90's punk rock like Descendents, Operation Ivy and NOFX, to the Pogues, the Dubliners and Billy Bragg to 80's metal like Motorhead and Iron Maiden, iknowkungfu is the embodiment of beer, brotherhood and good time rock and roll. ..
