The Morning After is a heady blend of Britpop, neo-psychedelia and North American indie rock. The Morning After's shows are high-energy, no-frills affairs distinguished by loads of energy and passion. -John Kendle, Editor of Uptown Magazine .. Formed in April of 2004 by 5 friends in small town Niverville, MB. The Morning After quickly took the Winnipeg music scene by storm. Recording a debut album, manic over the edge performances, winning Winnipeg's longest runninng battle of the bands, and playing multiple showcases including 3 junofest performances and 2 Western Canadian Music Awards performances in both Vancouver in 2005 and back home in Winnipeg in 2006 all the while gaining critical acclaim, a dedicated fan base, and heavy rotation on college radio and nationally on XM satelite radio . Two years later, The Morning After released a follow up EP titled "song,song,song" featuring the college radio hit single "Your Love I Won't Do".
