Myspace Layout Generator
How do you make Parsnip soup?

Just add a Cali-bred hippie songwriter, a yoga guru capable of some crazy stretches and drum fills, a former metal head bass player, and an obsessive compulsive Jerseyite who has a different guitar every week. While it may not sound like the tastiest of ingredients, added together they actually make a savory dish.

Since 2005, the band has revolted against the mundane sounds of modern music and crafted a truly original sound filled with emotion and melodic purity, having honed their sound in the sixty plus shows they've played to date. Despite a collective maturity level peaking at about age 14, they've somehow managed to create a solid collection of honest songs. Music that can be comfortably played acoustically for Geremiah's cat or rocked out with Brian’s grooving bass and Jake's electric guitar. And Doug? He can break out the bongos, full kit, or mean veggie-burger anytime! So if you're hungry, check out The Parsnip Revolt...the sounds are fresh and the ingredients are just right!

Cool stuff regarding the TV performance...though your guitarist looks like the kind a guy who'd drink tequila all night, yell at house guests and vomit on himself/his bed/his dog. Better watch out for him once you get a tour bus.

Hey The Parsnip Revolt, So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. In your presence even my shadow acquires the sensation of touch. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. Your wonderfully bright soul keep the demons from torturing me. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning.
