The Phantom Shakers is a Detroit-based traditional Rockabilly band featuring the
velvety voice of Elle Mae on vocals backed by the twangy bobbin' sounds of Markie D. on guitar and
rounded out by various Detroit-area musicians on upright bass & drums. This is Rockbilly music in it's purest form honoring the artists & sounds that inspired & paved the way for such "Rock 'n' Roll" groups as the Beatles, Led Zepplin & Jeff Beck, just to name a few.
