The Progress was a band from 2001 to 2008. We were four grade school friends who learned how to play music (and our instruments) together. In our lifespan, we wrote two EP's and a LP. We spent the majority of our time as a band winning the hearts of guys in their 20's and getting booked on metal shows that we didn't make any sense playing. Live and learn.
Today, Mike and Eric are living and working in NJ. Jason is attending Notre Dame for law in South Bend, IN. Evan is playing bass in DAMIERA and doing his own project INTO IT. OVER IT. while living in Chicago, IL. We all check this site. If you have questions or comments, please send them our way. We read and respond to everything. Here are two video's that comprise a full set. The show is from the Milford Firehall in Milford, PA and was filmed on March 11th, 2005. This is (to my knowledge) the most accurate depiction of what it was like to be at one of our shows (caught on tape). Enjoy.

it truly is a shame you guys broke up i first started to listen to you guys in the summer of 04 maybe 05 and i bought the album golden state and i wouldnt listen to anything but that album for the longest time over the years i started listening to other music and band but just the other day i was cleaning out closet my and i found golden state so i just put it my computer to listen to it and its been years since i have and i just want to let you guys know your music was truly great music and i just want to thank you guys making such good music

I was leaving work and put on Golden State. That cd kicks ass. It is one of the best cd's I own. For a week now, i keep listening to those 5 songs like its my job. It's amazing! You guys got to get back together, or at least play one last kick ass show.
