About me:
The Ramshackle Faculty was birthed by brothers Ed and Ginger in 2002. It has taken many different guises over the last few years.................we shall attempt to explain ........................................................................................................
Starting off as a recording studio they recorded many local artists including the late folk/ska outfit 'Ye Wiles' and psychedelic funksters 'Bonze'........then on to taking trees, fabrics and entertainment to spaces............ After a time of travelling in foreign lands, the Ramshackle Cafe/creperie was born....................................................

in summer 2005 a crew of friends go on the road from party to festival in Southern England. Highlights included the Glade festival, the Oneness celebration, Wingmakers, Small World fetivals, Organized Kaos and other woodland gatherings.....................................................................
............................................................ using the cafe as a colourful springboard they began to court attention for the magick and beauty of the areas created, so started to accept opportunities making sacred space and installing their unique array of ramshackle sculptures and decor.......................................................

they are now responsible for the tree circle at Small World Festival, an ever evolving place of peace and inspiration, the Site Art at Sunrise Celebration, also working closely with organized kaos, Little Green Planet, Branching Arts and many others........ They worked with a bunch of folk opening and decorating the "Canyon" for the first time at Big Green Gathering, and have brought the woodland inside for a few large London events......................................... the theme of their installations has tended towards the earthy..... making use of found wood, natural fabrics and gathered materials...................................................

last year we were thrown into coordinating the site decor at Sunrise Celebration and putting together an impromptu cafe space at Echo festival..........................................................though.....a new focus now emerges : the preservation, sharing and spreading of skills, arts and knowledge.......... integrating them into everyday life........................................................
............so................................................
new happenings on the horizon are "skills share gatherings"....... various workshop weekends (any events will be by donation),........Seed Swaps,.......a building project to create a centre for arts, crafts and learning,......a tree planting program...+++++++......many eggs juggled, some may drop and splat, some will hatch.......................................................

At present we are working with Sunrise Celebration, coordinating the Site Art. Working closely with branchingarts.com, the builders of a computer cnc cutter with ability to precision cut mandalas or any shape out of wood or metal.....we're visiting London to build various gateways and sculptures with this great technology.
