Formed - gradually - in 2005, The Recovery Club centres around the magical things which emerge when Allan, Amy and Graham (and friends) write, play and sing together. The Recovery Club - much like the demo tracks above - are a work in progress. The first proper and official recording is well under way, but the songs on this page should give an idea of where we're coming from and heading to. Keep an eye on this page for upcoming gigs and news.
Hawd yer wheest, Amy, you should have put a lock on it if you didn't want it stolen, heh heh. Hope you guys are having a grand Tuesday evening up yonder!

Hey Amy & Co...You know I just have to come onto your page every now and again and listen to rest and be thankful..it really is a mightily good song.
I'm playing at the liquid ship on friday if any of you fancy it. It's my first gig since releasing my ep so looking forward to it! Be cool to see some of you...cheers just now..
Howdy, The Scuffers will be playing our first gig of 2008 on Saturday 15th March @ Ivory Blacks. The gig is for Kidney Research and there will also be RocketFox, Mick Drain, Mindset and Page6 on the bill. The evening will lead in to an aftershow party hosted by Steg G (sunny govan radio) and the excellent Corduroy Jack. The tickets are £5 and are available from the bands or on the door. Its a great charity and every penny from the night goes to Kidney Research. Hope to see you there. Cheers The Scuffers

Howdy there, Here’s a wee reminder of this weeks Free Candy Sessions @ The Liquid Ship, Great Western Road, Glasgow.
Starting the week on Tuesday 9th Oct is Crawford Smith on a busmans holiday from his own successful acoustic night The Southside Sessions @ Linen. Also on the bill are the excellent David Hardie and a cracking return from Micheal Jack.
On Thursday 11th Oct we have 3 debuts at the sessions from Lost In Motion, The Indra and A.S.S.O.A. Completing the line-up is the mercurial David Bova (Acousticbug) fresh from a support slot on The Waterboys recent UK tour.
Rounding off the week on Friday 12th Oct is a snapshot of the very best of the talent that has played at The Free Candy Sessions over the last 4 years, Eoghan Coghlan, Caragh Nugent and The Last ones Left.
Every one of those gigs are FREE ENTRY and start at 8.30pm
