Following the stellar response to their single Russian Roulette on Gearhead in 2005, they headed back to the legendary Coney Island based Cyclone Sound to record their debut full-length Yellow Fever Blues. Just a reminder for those of you who may see this comment and not be aware, The Spunks disbanded 2 years ago. So requests for shows, tracks for compilations etc are unfortunately not realistic. This is why I've had to disable friend requests from bands etc, as we continue to receive e-mail that seems unaware the band is no longer together. 2/3rds of the band now live in Japan and to the best of my knowledge there is no plan for The Spunks to reform, but thanks for your continued interest.

It's great to hear "Here Goes the Black Cat" on here! I think it's my favorite track from that recording session. Too bad it didn't go on the album.
