Sounds Like
Guitars, bass, drums & vocals .... with a hint of Brown Ale and twenty Regal King Size!!!
The Vanity Rules are: Paul Vasey - Guitar/songwriting, Elton Waller - Guitar, Leigh Barnfather - Drums, Paul Wilkinson - Bass, Peter Kelsey - Vocals and Steve Shadforth - Production. We haven't got a clue what the future holds and also, we haven't a clue anyway, but maybe someone will share the belief that we all have in the band and help move us on to the next stage in our development. Either way, check out the site from time to time. We'll still be striving to be as good as we possibly can be and enjoying good times along the way.
There's a new track up on on our myspace page, Casualidad, please feel free to download and enjoy it. A little Muse, a little Latina, a lot of Fun, and an Alex Lifeson solo, what more do you want? Best from Steve & Sabrina in Berlin, first gig on 13th June! x
Hello, Paul ! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was kind of too much into my music stuff (lol)...! But your new song is plain excellent, as expected ! Sometimes I wonder, what would we do, without MySpace, and this whole internet thing...? ;-)
Hi Paul ! I was waiting for this new Vanity Rules song, but... maybe soon ! ;-) You're right, I love Prefab Sprout, I just hope the new album will be more like the old ones, when they were produced by Thomas Dolby (Steve McQueen, Jordan, etc...) !
Hi Paul and the gang. I've not got it, is this his second since his resurrection? I wasn't so enamoured with the first one, just a little too bitter for me, though he is a fine songsmith. Did you ever hear the last Dels album, some bits of genius on there.
Me, well I got the file invite, but I won't get to do anything till next weekend at least, as I've got to write two short pieces for an audition (for a real job) at a theatre company on Thursday. I've also got to start rehearsing with my Spanish singer as we've a gig in June, tons of Spanish cover songs to learn, as well as our own stuff.
Thanks so very much for your gracious add, your kind words, and a very good evening to you!
You have wonderful music on your page and you have great music influences as well.
Have a wonderful weekend, many well wishes, blessings, and inspiration to you, and much continued success to you.
Wishing you and yours the Very Happiest New Year 2009, all filled with joy, inspiration, music, light, blessings, peace and the beauty of the holiday season.
