The Victory Year’s sophomore release entitled “The World Is Waiting For You” features 14 brand-new songs that are “long overdue for the world to hear” according to many of the band’s ever growing fanbase. The album’s songs appropriate reflect the different stages of life and growing up by exploring the different emotions of life, love, faith, friendship, pain and hurt. All emotions that today’s listeners have felt and deal with.
Take for example the single from the cd, “Chances, Scars, and Ups & Downs”. This song appropriately reflects what The Victory Year is all about. The song is about striving to keep things together even in times when everyone feels like giving up. The song gives listeners the inspiration to keep fighting and to keep reaching for your goals and dreams with melodic guitars and catchy melodies that are present throughout the entire album.
In fact, the whole CD is a reflection of each member’s life experiences and musical tastes. Many of these experiences can easily be taken to heart by the listeners and applied to their own life.
So far, the album has been a tremendous success for the band as music fans from around the world have been apart of the CD by being able to listen through internet sites such as purevolume.com and myspace.com.
