Simple, but in a complex and bewitching way, The Virgo 9 has one goal. Making music for fighting, fucking or dancing. A trio with rare and raw energy, they come off somewhere between angry and plain mischievous. Mischievous is closer to reality. Often called one of the loudest bands in The Triangle, they spin a blend of punk, stonerrock and good old fashioned Rock 'n Roll with a grin as wide as the rivers they grew up on.

Review by Quick Like a Bunny Reviews: The Virgo Nine take rock n' roll by the balls and squeezes until you beg, baby, please, please, please, please. It's garage-punk that takes you back to their Southern roots with hints of blues and gospel. One of their best songs is the visceral "No Means No," but when you hear it you are going to say, "Yes, yes!"
i don't know the mystical relevance to the kangaroo although to aborinal tribes they are thought of as wise beings ....anacondas are obviously symbols for something snake like?? the teeth i can't really understand ....regarding the music just take it easy and don't set goals when you set goals they never happen.. planning never gets anywhere ...just let the flow take you where it wants ....i had a strange dream myself i was laying on a conveyor belt and suddenly light was flahing from me and creating opti-kinetic stuff like strobic lights and in the flashing motions there was this baby looking at me ....all of a sudden at the end of the conveyor belt there was this new york yankee type old boy shaking his head going "you did it all wrong" ....it was the most vivid dream i had for a long time
Just wanted to say thankyou for letting me use one of your songs on DG5. In the end I went for "Gavin's Theme" just because I always loved hearing the simplicity of that melody. Sometimes I find myself involuntarily singing Uberfuzz's "Hypnotise" over it. You should try that live sometime after you've fried everyone's ears.
