On Youtube, we are described by siyafu as follows:
"I just saw the waffle stompers a couple weeks ago, and they didn't play too much ska. They had a huge fuckin stage presence, but they were playing a shatload of punk for a ska show." ..... WHERE ARE OUR MANNERS?!
Listen, love is a strong word. It can be overused. I'd like to believe that the boys and I truly love this whole band thing. We write music because we love it, and we play the living fuck out of every live show because we love it. Our plans for the future are to run full fucking speed ahead and let the joy of living, loving, and playing fuel us the whole way. If you're looking for a group who rocks and who makes you feel good, I gotta say this is the webpage you wanna be at.
In a completely related and far more important note than any of that nothingness i just wrote, The Waffle Stompers are impeccable dancers. Don't believe us? check out our video for "Serious," or challenge us to a dance off. you got no chance.
Like I said, just a bunch of guys looking to have fun and rock the fuck out of life. Feel free to contact us for any reason, we love to talk. and be talked to. Check out our songs we're really great.
"I crafted a clever little blurb about a “Canadian” ska band called The Waffle Stompers who were playing a show at 242 with local ska-punk outfit Husbands AKA who kick ass, by the way. It went a little something like this: Sunday, the basement bastion of bad-assery will be skankin’ like it’s 1997 with New Brunswick ska-punk ensemble The Waffle Stompers, who bear a striking resemblance to early Reel Big Fish, only, you know, Canadian.
Comedic gold, right? [Ed. note: No.] Only one problem: The band ain’t Canadian. They’re from New Brunswick, New Jersey. This means, not only did I goof the biographical info, but I also missed a golden opportunity to rip on the Garden State. Curses! Still, I stand by my assertion that the dudes sound like a Canadian version of Reel Big Fish and that’s not a bad thing, really."

"This 6-song EP is full of hard rock and heavy metal intertwined with a horn section, and packaged as "ska". If you shop at Hot Topic, you will probably think this band is the best thing since sliced bread."

For one reason or another you guys remind me of "Arrogant Sons of Bitches"/ "Bomb the Music Industry!" I saw you guys with the English Beat in Milford NH and bought both CDs. Keep up the good work.
Sometime this winter, either you're coming to Long Island to play with us or we're coming down to Jersey to play with you. Either way, there will be playing involved.
