The Weekender returns as THE WEEKENDER #2, supporting local charity "Youth Concern", providing shelter and counselling for homeless and needy teenagers in the town.
This year's event, again gracing the Kings Head Courtyard in the Market Square Aylesbury, will feature two packed evening sessions over the weekend of the 12th and 13th July.
On the 8th and 9th September 2007 in the courtyard at the King's Head in Aylesbury, Bucks, seven bands played various slots in 4 sessions; 1pm-3pm and 8pm-11pm both days.
The weekender raised funds for the Kids Company charity http://www.kidsco.org.uk, and this was achieved via business sponsorship....enabling us to a whole weekend of brilliant, live original rock FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Kids Company is a wonderful organisation that provides shelter, rehabilitation and counselling for children who have been the victims of physical or mental abuse.
