I'd like to think that I work Bloody hard for my pittance. So when I'm not earning my crust, you can usually find me either drinking Coffee @ Cafe Neros in the smoking lounge (outside) or in a local hostelry. Harpoon Louies WAS my drinking & Quizzing local. But the bloody pub's went the way of most pubs these days. It has re-opened. But, to be honest although the ale is good, it’s more of a yuppie bar now.
So I now sup my ale in various pubs in Taunton and elsewhere,
ie. The Coal Orchard,
The Pen & Quill,
& The Lamb & Lion in Bath.
I Watch Sport avidly.
The County Cricket Ground is in easy reach of home. Somerset CCC, had a great season last year - let’s hope for more of the same this. Come on you Sabres.
Other Sports, Football, Baseball, Tennis, etc. are usually from the comfort of my armchair, in front of the Telly.
I adore camping, and going to Festivals. The Trowbridge Village Pump was excellent this year. if not a bit muddy. This year is going to be especially poignant, as the main man Alan Briars, died in December
Musically: Most Friday’s you’ll find me at the Invention Studio in Bath. Where you can chill out and SEE some great music from MYSPACE bands.
And of course I Blog. .
