I am really sad to inform you that after five great years, we have decided to call an end to The Mourning After.
It has been nothing less than a voyage of fantastic moments, in the lustrous array of gigs we have played, people we have met and experiences we have shared.
The band has been such a pivotal part of our lives, but now due to creative differences, we have decided to finish on a high, so as the band remains synonomous with our dazzling and brilliant teenage years.
There is nothing left to say other than a heart felt thank-you to all the people that have supported us over the years, we hope we have done our jobs and given you a bit of enjoyment along the line too!!

The Mourning After sprung to live out of deepest darkest North London fueled by a passion for expressing and venting their raw talents into their musical performances. Their music bearing influences from the last fifty years of popular culture as well as all the events and people that shape their lives to this very day.
Over the last four years, The Mourning After have played close to 200 shows at over 30 different cities (alongside acts such as Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Maccabees, Calvin Harris, The Rumblestrips, The Wombats, Lethal Bizzle, Alphabeat, and many more), recorded numerous demos, played on national TV and grown a serious thirst for success. With nothing but pure ambition, along with an attitude that embraces the creativity of each of the band members, the boys wish to spread their music as far as it goes.
The band gained widespread recognition for their latest ‘Welcome to Co-Pilot Ep’ including recently being named ‘Unsigned Band of the Week’ on Steve Lamacq’s Radio 1 show ‘New Music We Trust’ in addition to plays on Zane Lowe’s show on Radio 1 and plays on XFM.
