We receive many requests from bands for help releasing their music, but for the time being Tocado-records is totally overloaded with new signings. We're a small label and we want to give the bands we sign our undevided attention, so we can't handle too many bands on the roster.
We won't sign any new bands this year.

Tocado Records was founded around the notion that music shouldn't be made to gain big profits. Music is a bit like magic, and magic can't be sold without losing its power. We love music and we love the people who make music, so we think musicians should make their music and do their act on stage without being bothered by people who want to put them into a mold. The mold of commercially viable shit only made to serve as a tune with adds, or the mold of sturdy rockers with sideburns who only talk about beer, or the mold of innocent looking fuckdolls with squeaky voices. You know what this means.. We want real music by real people.
We are not a company ran by managers who drive leased cars and only talk about sales. People like that can pis off and start selling toiletpaper for our part. We want to see our artist grow beyond their own expectations. We are a support system that allows musicians to DO IT TOGETHER instead of DIY. This means they don't have to reinvent the wheel to start releasing/promoting their music ; that's what we're here for..
Furthermore we are still sick of all the meaningless crap most record companies produce and most radio stations play, while real good bands - that really have something to say - are forced to work in the margins of the industry. If you like Idols, R&B and all the other emptiness the industry supports go somewhere else; this is NOT for you!!
