Welcome to the Official Myspace for Texas based guitarist/singer/songwriter Tony Pierce. Tony has been playing guitar for 13 years, and has been writing song scince his early teens. He is influenced by many different kinds of music and you can hear this in his music. His debut album 'Starting Today' features 8 songs writen by Tony, and two that were writen by some of his songwriting heros. The album is on the smoother side of Texas Country, with what tony describes as the "North Texas" sound. Produced by Dallas/Fort Worth based genius Milo Deering the record displays all of those beloved acoustic instruments such as fiddle, dobro, and mandolin while also displaying some of Tony's guitar skills. Tony claims, "I played all of the guitar stuff on the CD, but it's not just a 'guitar record', the other intrumentation on this album is awesome and I am very thankful to Milo and everyone else who played on it".
