ENGLISH: Tormenta was born in Ribeirão Preto, interior of São Paulo, where in 1998 its seed was
planted by boys that wanted to play and create heavy music at any price.
Through the years, the band grew up and developed with dedication and patience.
In that period, several musicians arrived and left, and after
two years withou any activities, the band came back in 2005.
Performing a thrash metal with 80's influences and singing in Portuguese,
in the end of 2006 Tormenta introduced on the market its first work, the EP "Tormenta".
PORTUGUÊS: A Tormenta é originária da cidade de Ribeirão Preto, interior de São Paulo, onde nos idos anos de 1998 sua semente foi plantada por garotos no ímpeto de tocar e criar música pesada a qualquer custo.
Através dos anos, a banda cresceu e evoluiu com dedicação e paciência. Nesse período, vários músicos chegaram e partiram, e após dois anos sem atividades, a Tormenta voltou à ativa em 2005.
Executando um Thrash Metal de influências oitentistas e cantado em português, no final de 2006 a banda lançou seu primeiro trabalho, o EP “Tormenta”, que foi recebido de maneira muito positiva tanto pelo público quanto pela crítica.
No ano de 2007, vários shows complementaram a divulgação do EP nos palcos do interior paulista e no sul de Minas. Dessas, destacam-se as apresentações no Arena Rock de Araraquara com Ratos de Porão. O tributo ao Sarcófago em Uberaba e a participação no Festival Metal Rebellion especial de 7 anos com bandas de renome nacional como Korzus (SP) e Imago Mortis (RJ) entre outros. Destaque para DVD desta apresentação.
No ano de 2008 a banda se concentrou mais em compor, por isso os shows foram menos frequentes, porém merece destaque a participação no Roça ‘n’ Roll em Varginha, um dos maiores festivais de música pesada do país.

La Tormenta è nata nella città di Ribeirao Preto, interiore de San Paolo – Brasile, dove circa nell’anno di 1998 sua seme è stato piantado per ragazzi con voglia di suonare e creare musica pesante a qualsiase costo. In progresso di tempo, il gruppo musicale ha cresciuto con evoluzione, dedicazione e pazienza. In questo periodo, molti musicisti arrivanno e partono, dopo di 2 anni senza attività, la Tormenta torna in 2005. Facciando un Thrash Metal di prestigio degl’anni di ottanta e cantando in portoghese, fino di 2006 il gruppo ha lanciato suo primo lavoro, il singolo “Tormenta”, che è ricevuto di maniera squisita per il pubblico e per la censura.
Nell’anno di 2007 c’era molti concerti per divulgare questo nuovo lavoro del gruppo nel interior di questo stato e sud dello stato di Minas Gerais. Di queste, distaccarsi le presentazioni nell’Arena Rock di Araraquara con il gruppo brasiliano “Ratos de Porao”. Il tributo al gruppo brasiliano “Sarcofago” nella città di Uberaba e il contributo nel “Festival Metal Rebellion” speciale di 7 anni con gruppi musicali di nome nazionale come Korzus di San Paolo, Imago Mortis del Rio de Janeiro fra altri.
Distacco per il DVD di questo concerto. Nell’anno di 2008 il gruppo ha fatto più musiche, per questo i concerti erano meno spesso, però merita distacco nel contributo nel “Roça ‘n’ Roll” nella città di Varginha, un dei grandi concerti di musica pesante dell paese.
ESPAÑOL: Tormenta tiene origen en la ciudad de Ribeirão Preto, interior de la província de São Paulo (Brasil), donde en el passado año de 1998 su semilla fue plantada por chicos en un ímpetu de tocar y crear música pesada a cualquier precio.
A través de los años, la banda creció y evolucionó con dedicación y paciencia. En este período, varios músicos llegaron y partiron, y después de dos años sin actividad, Tormenta volvió al trabajo en 2005.
Ejecutando un thrash metal en portugués con influencias ochentistas, al final de 2006 lanzó su primer CD, el E.P “Tormenta”, que sigue siendo recibido de modo muy positivo por el público y por la crítica.
ESPERANTO: La bando Tormenta devenas el la urbo Ribeirão Preto, ŝtato San-Paulo, kie en 1998 ĝia semo estis plantita de knaboj kun la impeto iel ajn ludi kaj krei pezan muzikon.
Tra la jaroj, la bando kreskis kaj evoluis kun sindediĉo kaj pacienco. Dum tiu periodo, pluraj muzikistoj alvenis kaj foriris, kaj post du senagadaj jaroj Tormenta reaperis en 2005.
La grupo ludas draŝan metalrokon kun influoj de la okdekaj jaroj kaj kantas en la portugala. Fine de 2006 Tormenta lanĉis memeldone sian unuan verkon, la EP Tormenta, kiu estis bonege akceptita per la publiko kaj gazetaroj.
En 2007 pluraj spektakloj helpis la disvastigon de la disko en la San-Paŭla interlando kaj Minasa sudo. El tiuj koncertoj, menciidas la spketakloj en Arena Rock en Araraquara kun Ratos de Porão, la homaĝo al Sarcofágo en Uberaba kaj la partopreno en la datrevena Festivalo Metal Rebellion 7 jaroj, kun la famaj Korzus (SP) e Imago Mortis (RJ) i.a.
Estis lanĉita DVD el tiu spektaklo, kiu meritas apartan mencion.
En 2008 la grupo koncentriĝis je verkado, pro tio la koncertoj fariĝis malpli oftaj, sed tamen reliefigindas la partoprenon en festivalo Roça ‘n’ Roll en Varginha, unu el la plej grandaj festivaloj pri peza muziko en Brazilo.
