Treeburning was formed in early 2006 with a diverse arrangement of members that came from different musical backgrounds... Josh Simpson (guitar/piano/slide) from Northern Texas, Steve Morton (guitar) from Ontario, Brad Colbourne (bass) from NB and Kevin Nelson (drums) from BC.
Since the bands inception and after auditioning numerous musicians a small tight knit groups of friends emerged with a single goal in mind of writing original music... something new and uncharted... and that's just what happened. This chemical reaction of musicianship resulted in a fresh blend of sounds and ideas. The embodiment of raw energy, isolated and transplanted into unique and vibrant hard rock.
One album, two cross country tours, two vans, one less molar, too many shows to count, and fifteen new songs later... The time has come! Treeburning is currently at the Rock Ranch Studio recording their highly anticipated second album...
