About me:

Born and raised in Boston, but currently residing in Lake Tahoe,CA. I teach at Western NV College and and speak at cons and colleges on Anthropology & sci fi, fantasy, Indiana Jones, and fan films Convention History: I have been attending conventions since 1989, volunteering since 1990, and started bringing my Trek cats along for costume contests in 1990 - all have appeared in the Trekkies I and Trekkies II documentaries, as well as in William Shatner's book (1998), "Get A Life". In 2007 I began formally speaking at colleges and conventions on the anthropological aspects of Star Trek, Star Wars, Xenolinguistics, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. In addition, I have also done some speaking on the subject of Star Trek Fan Films, and more recently about the forthcoming Star Trek film and Xenoarchaeology. Some recently added workshops and panels for cons: Indiana Jones and archaeology of the future. One final note: Avid Tribble Collector! ..
