TrocaBrahma is a festival, brought to you by the authentic Brasilian beer Brahma. Trocabrahma fuses UK and Brasilian music, art and culture together to create a series of gigs, street art campaigns and memorable stories. Exchanges and collaborations happened in Brasil throughout May and June, producing music that will be performed at gigs in Glasgow, Liverpool and London (dates posted below) by some of the most influential and interesting musicians around.
Keep checking this page for more information, footage and streams. The Trocabrahma blog and Flickr site will be constantly updated by the Trocabrahma Team of artists and producers throughout the course of the festival.
The Trocabrahma team have been following the exchanges in Brasil and will be at all of the UK events. We're making a documentary series which will be podcast through the blog site later in the year. In the meantime teasers and previews will be released online giving you an insight into what the musicians and artists involved create as part of the project. There will also be TV documentaries on 4Music and, of course, a series of gigs in Glasgow, Liverpool and London not to be missed.
Hi TrocaBrahma I've posted a new track!
In celebration of my soon to be ten thousand friends I have released "BitOfun, The Original 2006" This track became the "BitOfun" on my page. But I promise you it is very different. Come and check it out and let me know what you think, I hope you'll enjoy it.
