Twin Turbo são os irmãos gémeos Nuno e Pedro Pinto.
Depois de algumas experiências a solo ou noutros projectos, começaram a pôr som juntos no início de 2006. Desde então, já passaram por diversas pistas de dança do Porto, onde residem, tais como Plano B, Passos Manuel, Pitch, Bazaar e Indústria, assim como algumas das mais conhecidas da capital, como Lux, Mini-Mercado e Incógnito. Contam também com passagens por Viana do Castelo, Ponta Delgada, Guimarães, Braga, pelo festival Paredes de Coura em 2008, Clubb Ace (Estocolmo, SE) e Soundsick (Madrid, ESP). Já tiveram o prazer de partilhar a cabine com nomes como Yuksek (FR), Dre Skull (USA), Blatta & Inesha (IT), Vicarious Bliss (GB), datA (FR), The Proxy (RU), Shadow Dancer (UK), Ascii Disko (DE), assim como alguns dos nomes mais conhecidos da "cena electro" do país.
Os seus dj sets são marcados por uma extrema intensidade, que revelam as influências rock e heavy-metal que fizeram parte da sua adolescência e formação musical. Uma volta à pista em máxima rotação entre os sons mais sujos e distorcidos do electro-rock-maximal e o techno mais contundente.
Em Outubro de 2009 iniciaram o projecto MegaBass em parceria com Sérgio Gomes (Breaks Lda), um "club" com base no Armazém do Chá no Porto mas tende a estender-se pelo país e não só. Caracateriza-se por sons bassline, midget house, ghetto bass , fidget, bmore, etc. Estes sons têm igualmente caracterizado os mais recentes sets dos Twin Turbo, sempre na procura de sets imprevisíveis, que é a base da motivação para este hobby que ocupa cada vez mais espaço no dia-a-dia. E agora vem aí a produção…igualmente como hobby, mas que tem vindo a produzir alguns frutos…
E sim, eles têm uma fixação por carros ou qualquer outro tipo de veículo de motor sobrealimentado. Vai uma boleia?

Twin Turbo are the twin brothers Nuno and Pedro Pinto.
After a few experiences in other projects, they began playing together as DJ's in early 2006. Since then, they have played in the best clubs in Porto, their home town, such as Plano B, Passos Manuel, Pitch, Bazaar and Indústria, Lisbon (Lux, Mini-Mercado, Incógnito...). They have also played throughout Portugal, including on one of the biggest Portuguese festivals "Paredes de Coura". Besides this they also played in the Clubb Ace (Stockholm, SE) and Soundsick (Madrid, ESP). They had the pleasure to share the booth with some well know international djs, such as Yuksek (FR), Dre Skull (USA), Blatta & Inesha (IT), Vicarious Bliss (GB), datA (FR), The Proxy (RU), Shadow Dancer (UK), Ascii Disko (DE) and with some of the most famous Portuguese names in electro music. Always on Turbo mode, their unpredictable sets mix the dirty and distorted sounds of electro-rock-new rave with tough techno beats.
In October 2009 they started the project MegaBass with Ségio Gomes (Breaks Lda), a club with headquarters at Armazém do Chá in Oporto but it tends to spread throughout the country and beyond. It's characterized by bassline, midget house, ghetto bass, fidget and bmore sounds. These sounds have also characterized the latest sets of Twin Turbo.
Their sets are intense, revealing the influences of rock and heavy-metal music that they grew up listening to mixed with electronic sonic that tears apart the dance-floor. Now, producing music is the next step, and the first experiences are available…
