Ultraviolet emerged in late 2007 from the ashes of Blame Jayne, resplendent with a new rhythm section to do justice to award-winning songwriter/vocalist Gloria Albanese's acoustic groove-based songs. Featuring alt-rock inspired guitar over R&B influenced bass lines, melodic keyboards with hard-hitting drums, UltraViolet has transformed into a heavy groove band who aren't afraid to show their sensitive side.
Check out our newest tracks recorded @ the end of 2008 "High & Dry" & "Thankin' U".
And if you haven't already, check out "Where I Stand" and "No Escape" which also feature the current UltraViolet lineup.
Props & big thanks to the involvement of others on previous Blame Jayne recordings and also current UltraViolet tracks. They are:
Any Hour: Lauren Deaves (bass) & Brett Rozek (drums).
Butter Me Up: Brett Rozek (lead guitar) and Jane Brown (vocals).
*NEW TRACK* High & Dry: Brett Rozek (lead guitar).
And most importantly we cannot go without thanking and acknowledging DANNY BRYAN for recording us (check out his myspace) and working on our stuff in the first place! THANK YOUUUUU!
